So today I was in my econ class. There are about 400 people in this class. My econ teacher is a die-hard Keynesian, and he said, “If Ron Paul had his way, we would have no taxes, and the government would shut down!”
I was sitting next to my sister who was also taking the class, and I stood and said, “There are other ways to fund government besides the income tax, which is what Paul wants to get rid of. We have only had an income tax for a hundred years out of three-hundred years, maybe we should be in a history class.”
The teacher was left completely speechless and the class jeered and cheered.
